Gene co-founded Scope Environmental in 2011 and prior to that managed a real estate/ mortgage office and was involved in residential development. Gene has been actively working in the real estate servicing industry since 2002. He oversees all strategic decisions for Scope Environmental – CBC Cleaning and Construction including marketing, business development, social media, advertising, community events, partnerships, acquisitions, and expansion. Gene has a BS Degree from the University of Phoenix in Management of Information Technology. He is certified by the IICRC and is happily married to Veronika Kucherov (VP of Operations) Gene has 2 beautiful girls, Jaqueline and Simone and an irresistibly cute little dog, Zoey.
Veronika is a co-founder and owner of Scope Environmental – CBC Cleaning and Construction. She oversees all operations and the restoration department. Her daily tasks include the implementation of new systems, developing process and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and customer satisfaction. Veronika also meets with all division heads weekly to go over margins, jobs, staffing and objectives. Veronika is a licensed General Contractor and has been in the restoration industry for over 20 years and has extensive experience in construction, mold, and water damage restoration. She has a BS Degree from the California State Northridge in Biotechnology and has been happily married since 2006 to the Gene Kucherov (VP of Strategy), she has 2 beautiful girls, Jaqueline and Simone and an irresistibly cute little dog, Zoey.
Hillary has been with Scope-CBC since 2021 and has performed just about every job in accounting, process improvement, and bookkeeping! She is instrumental in the growth and success of Scope-CBC. Hillary heads up the Accounting Department and oversees all accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. She also plays an integral role in the handling and development of Scope-CBC's Human Resource Department and process development. Hillary is often relied upon in many aspects of CBC's operations and strategy.
Amy has been with Scope-CBC since 2018 and brings a competent, fun witty personality to the front desk at CBC. If you call to book an appointment, there is a good chance you will hear her pleasant and polite voice. Her tasks are multi-faceted, and she is the backbone in scheduling, coordinating, and managing our hard-working Cleaning Division technicians. She also is on the front line of making sure that all our wonderful clients are satisfied and handles any questions that may arise.
Noe has been with Scope-CBC since 2020 and is very effective in working with customers during restoration projects. He is patient and knowledgeable about all thing’s restoration. He coordinates and facilitates all the paperwork, proposals, subcontractors, and scheduling in the Restoration Department. He also acts as the liaison for adjusters, project managers, and Scope-CBC valuable clients. Noe is on track for management in the near future. Noe has many years in the residential construction industry and has Scope-CBC 's customers best interest Noe works hand in hand with the property owners to assure that Scope-CBC 's Restoration Services are performed successfully, timely and with minimal stress - whether insurance related or paid out of pocket.
Nick has been with CBC since 2012 with a short break to hone his skills. We are very happy that he finds himself calling CBC Cleaning and Construction his home and we are fortunate to have him. He and is very effective in working with customers during mitigation and bio projects. He is patient and knowledgeable about all things cleaning and mitigation. Nick coordinates and facilitates all the paperwork, proposals, subcontractors, and scheduling in the Bio Department. He also acts as the liaison for adjusters, project managers, and Scope-CBC valuable clients. Nick is on track for management soon. Over the years Nick has performed just about every service CBC offers in cleaning, mitigation, and bio both in the field and the office. Nick always has the best interest of our clients at hand and works diligently to provide a successful, timely and with minimal stress transaction every time. Nick is IICRC certified in carpet and upholstery cleaning, water damage/applied structural drying and AMRT.
Brittany has been with CBC since 2015 and is responsible for implementing CBC's social media strategy, developing, and maintaining brand awareness, generating inbound traffic, and cultivating leads. She is responsible for the operation of our marketing department and client relations and is an instrumental part in overseeing our internet presence. Her duties include identifying areas for research into the public's tastes and opinion, monitoring the satisfaction of current clients, choosing which types of events to sponsor and designing advertisements to our clients.
Steve has been with CBC since 2015. He is one of our Lead Technicians specializing in Carpet, Area Rug, Tile/Grout, Stone Restoration, and Upholstery Cleaning as well as Water Damage Emergency Response. He also serves as our In-Plant Cleaning Specialist. Steve has worked in the industry for over three years and decided to join the best of the best companies when it comes to Cleaning and Restoration. Steve is IICRC certified.
Pedro has been with CBC since 2014. He is one of our Lead Technicians that specialize in Emergency Response as well as Carpet, Area Rug, Tile/Grout, Stone Restoration, and Upholstery Cleaning. He is an extremely hard worker and is very focused on the outcome and quality of his work. He is IICRC Certified in Carpet, Upholstery Cleaning and Emergency Response.
Eduardo has been with CBC since 2023. He is one of our up-and-coming technicians that specialize in Emergency Response as well as Carpet, Area Rug, Tile/Grout, Stone Restoration, and Upholstery Cleaning. He is an extremely hard worker and is very focused on the outcome and quality of his work. He is currently pending his IICRC Certifications in Carpet, Upholstery Cleaning and Emergency Response.
Brian is our newest addition to the Scope-CBC team in 2023. He comes with many years of experience in polishing, metal work and cleaning. He assists our Lead Technicians in water damage disaster response as well as carpet, tile/grout, and upholstery cleaning. He is currently working on his IICRC certifications and is very capable of moving up to a crew chief position rapidly. He is a great addition to the team.
Oswaldo has been with Scope-CBC team since 2023 and assists our Lead Technicians in water damage disaster response as well as carpet, tile/grout, and upholstery cleaning. Oswaldo has a can-do attitude with a smile to boost. He comes to Scope-CBC with many years of professional cleaning, tile restoration and stone cleaning experience. He is a great addition to our crew.
Alex has been with CBC since 2015. He works closely with our project managers in following and accomplishing a detailed plan of action to restore your property back to its pre-loss condition! Alex is very experienced and trained in all aspects of construction. He is also responsible for the proper containment, demolition, remediation, and clean-up of mold.
Brandon joined the CBC team in 2018 as a very qualified project manager. He's been a licensed general contractor for over 20 years and is very experienced and talented in all construction trades. His attention to detail and quality of work is exactly what CBC strives for, so he is a welcome addition to the Restoration department. Brandon oversees and participates in CBC's reconstruction and remodeling projects to ensure we are delivering quality workmanship in our promised timeline. His patience and great demeanor is an added bonus!
Jeff has been with CBC for over 18 years. His custom cabinetry creations are beyond comparison and his cabinetry restoration is top notch. He specializes in matching existing finishes to create a flawless final product. We are fortunate to have Jeff on the team.
Josh has been a part of the CBC team since 2001. Over the years he has performed just about every service CBC offers in cleaning and restoration. Josh currently oversees our Restoration Department and is the head estimator for the division. He collaborates with the customers, adjusters, technicians, sub-contractors, and upper management to ensure a smooth workflow and speedy restoration. Josh is IICRC certified in carpet and upholstery cleaning, water damage/applied structural drying and AMRT.
Peter has been a part of the Scope-CBC team since 2018. Over the years he has performed just about every service Scope-CBC offers in mitigation and remediation. Peter is a one-man powerhouse, and we are fortunate to have him call Scope-CBC his family. He is dedicated, motivated and very knowledgeable. Peter currently oversees our Mold Remediation Department and actively collaborates with customers, adjusters, technicians project managers and upper management to ensure a smooth workflow and effective remediation completion and an efficient transition to the restoration division. Peter is IICRC certified in water damage and AMRT.
Tito has been with CBC since 2023. He works closely with our project managers in following and accomplishing a detailed plan of action to restore your property and is a very reliable asset on our team. He has many years of experience in residential and commercial construction specializing in tile installation. Tito is a great addition to the team.

Gordon and Debbie Glasnow founded CBC Cleaning and Restoration in 1978. Through hard work, strategic planning, and impeccable service they developed CBC into one of the most reputable companies in the Santa Clarita Valley. After 40+ years it was time to have a little fun and pass the reins on to a new management team. There was no one better then Gene and Veronika Kucherov of Scope Environmental. It truly was a match made by design. Gene and Veronika have the same work ethics, dedication to customer satisfaction and to be honest, for us, continuing our legacy. They even have 2 daughters and a cute blonde dog just like us. Gene and Veronika bring many years of experience in restoration and construction which will help CBC Cleaning and Construction do well into the future.
