Restoring Kindness in Santa Clarita

CBC is thrilled to be a part of the Restoring Kindness movement. This project is dedicated to reaching the community through small acts of kindness such as gift cards, small donations, and paying it forward in drive-thrus. Here are some photos of how we’ve given back:

We are excited to announce that we kicked off our first week of #RestoringKindness and donated money to the SRD Straightening ReinsFoundation on behalf of Ilene Scandlyn! This non-profit was founded by Deborah S. Rocha, that provides endless opportunities to the youth through a unique equine based program, that begun in honor of her late daughter, Samantha Jean Rocha-Dyer.

Gordon and Debbie decided Restoring Kindness should start at home with our own employees who worked endless hours on the Acton Flash Flood water damages as well as many other water damages that came in around that time! On Sunday, we had 8 Super Hero Staff members working all day so we brought them lunch, water, Gatorade and assorted snacks to keep them “fueled” for action!! Our staff is amazing and worked around the clock! Thank you for all you do!!!

Jennifer Hinson restored kindness and bought the person behind her their lunch! #RestoringKindness

Karen bought a backpack at JCPennys to donate to the local Boys and Girls Club!

#RestoringKindness continues at CBC. We were honored to donate money to Hillary Blaha and her nonprofit organization in Acton yesterday. It is called ASMO – Acton Schools Music Organization. They raise money throughout the year to keep music in Acton Schools! The recent flash flood damaged their storage room causing the roof to collapse, so they lost a lot of their fundraising items. Please take a look at their Facebook page and if you can help out in any way, that would be great. Anything is appreciated!#RestoringKindness continues at CBC. Thank you Karen for donating Back to School supplies to one of our local Starbucks! Those kids are going to love those colored pencils!

Since College of the Canyons started this week, Jennifer Hinson thought it would be nice to spread the love and leave a Starbucks gift card on someone’s windshield. Good luck this semester, Cougars!

Trevor spread kindness this week by offering to pay for someone’s coffee! Conversations over coffee is the best way to start someone’s day. #RestoringKindness

Our Receptionist Sharon bought coffee for the lady behind her and was then welcomed with tears and hug. A little goes a long way… and we’re so glad to be a part of such a great campaign.
